• hash_monster.exe (2.04 MB)
A free MD5 checksum generation and comparison tool for Windows.

  • spade114.exe (1.76 MB)
I thought I would put Sam Spade into the downloads section first since it seems to be unavailable from the site. I even posted a Cool Tools post about this handy little tool a while back, but it hasn't been around to download for quite some time. If you are looking for it, here it is. I put it here for download to share a wonderful free tool. Enjoy!

  • solaris_reference.pdf (98.44 KB)
Handy reference of how to's and quick tips for the Solaris UNIX operating system.

  • VxVM_Reference.pdf (160.78 KB)
This document is a reference for Veritas Volume Manager, now known as Veritas Storage Foundation. The first part is a quick walk through of the commands used to perform a simple typical setup on a set of disks. This is just as an example of what would be done, in context, taken from a real world setup.

  • webreaper.exe (1.25 MB)
This tool will recursively download a website for off-line viewing, archiving, etc. It will follow external links on the target site and download those as well, be sure to set parameters so that it doesn't fill up your hard drive!

  1. Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

Tell me what you are thinking?
